Project Overview

We redefined the visual identity of Janan Essence, a mental health and emotional intelligence brand founded by Niloufar Doroudgar. The previous AI-generated logo lacked originality and conceptual strength. Through a collaborative design process — inspired by Niloufar’s initial idea and guided by strategic brand archetype exploration — we created a refined, human-centered identity symbolizing awareness, balance, and growth.

From Repetition to an Authentic and Living Language

The Janan Essence brand had already begun its journey. The color blue had always been present at its core, yet it had never evolved into a distinct and cohesive identity.

The previous logo, created through artificial intelligence, appeared visually appealing at first glance — but our analysis revealed that it lacked conceptual strength and originality. Similar versions of it were even found across multiple platforms. This highlighted the need for a new mark — one that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also rooted, meaningful, and truly unique.

From Idea to Rebirth

The rebranding process began through direct collaboration and consultation with Niloufar Doroudgar. During several creative discussions, Niloufar shared an initial sketch — an idea born from the inner meaning and lived experience of the brand.

Our team at Mr. Violet developed and refined this concept, preserving its original essence while evolving it into a complete and enduring identity — a symbol that emerged from within the brand and aligned seamlessly with its vision.

Before finalizing the design, we also conducted a brand archetype analysis to ensure the new visual language aligned with the brand’s personality and mental journey.

A New Identity, A New Language

In the new design, we moved away from heavy golden forms toward softness, simplicity, and emotional depth. The letter J, paired with the lotus flower — a universal symbol of awareness and inner growth — became the brand’s new visual signature. The turquoise hue, long present in the spirit of the brand, was now unified into a standalone, cohesive identity, becoming the visual heart of Janan Essence.

Outcome and Collaboration

Redefining the visual identity of Janan Essence was more than a graphic design project — it was a dialogue between meaning, emotion, and form. Working with Niloufar Doroudgar was a truly valuable and inspiring experience — a deep exchange between two perspectives: one emerging from the heart of the brand, and the other from the lens of design. The result is a mark that not only introduces a new aesthetic but also expresses the brand’s inner story with greater honesty and vitality.
